The charismatic renewal ministry of Father Xavier Khan Vattayil, which commenced in 1998, has profoundly impacted numerous individuals, igniting a fervent desire to participate actively in the Church’s mission. Participants have been inspired to dedicate themselves to the edification of the Church and the broader work of evangelisation. This movement has led to the emergence of missionaries around the world. Father Soji Olickal further formed them and guided their growth in ministry.
Father Vattayil and Father Olickal has personally undertaken the formation, mentorship, and spiritual guidance of these missionaries, who are now being formally organised under the banner of the Holy Spirit Missionaries.
The Holy Spirit Missionaries is currently being established to continue this missionary endeavour for the salvation of souls. The ministry seeks to share Father Vattayil’s spirituality as a lay-led organisation, operating in close collaboration with local ecclesiastical authorities.
